Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am a candidate for Circuit Court Judge in Knox County because I love applying the law to real people and real situations.
Take a look around. Be sure to check out ways to be a part of the campaign by volunteering, by contributing, or by hosting a meet-and-greet.

One of the hardest things anyone can do is talk about themselves. At least, I think so. So bear with me as I give you a brief history of my life and experiences.
As a native of Knox County, I attended Shannondale Elementary school until my family moved to Morristown where I graduated from Morristown West High School in1978. Upon graduating from Tennessee Tech in 1983, I began my work experience as a weapons analyst for the Navy in Virginia. After 3 years, I returned to Tennessee to work for the Air Force at Arnold Engineering Development Center. While working for AEDC, I began law school at the Nashville School of Law. Working full time and going to law school was hectic, but it was certainly worth the effort.
I began my practice of law in 1998 when I left government service and entered private practice. I leveraged my technical background and legal training to become Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for an emerging internet software company in Brentwood, TN. After growing that business from 10 employees to a company of over 25 with clients such as Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and Anderson Windows, I left to expand my private practice.
Since that time I have practiced in civil courts in middle and east Tennessee, representing Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, individuals, and families. I've been a corporate attorney and country lawyer and everything in between.
I was elected Chairman of the Knox County Republican Party in 2009 and served for 4 years. While Chairman, we grew the number of Republican officeholders and raised money to support our candidates and promote the Party.
My wife Belynda is an amazing woman and together we have 4 wonderful children. Two of our sons are married, and we enjoy a houseful of family at holidays and whenever else we can all get together.
We live in East Knox County on the banks of the French Broad River with our 4 dogs and 3 cats.
I am asking for your vote and your support. Support can come in many ways. You can talk to your family, your friends, and neighbors, but also, you can influence people you don't know by putting a yard sign in front of your house or business. You can volunteer to make phone calls and host meet-and-greet functions at your house or in your neighborhood. I would be honored to walk through your neighborhood and meet your friends and neighbors.
No matter what you decide to do, I appreciate the fact that you are joining me in this effort.
